UBMI will clean your facility or home free of Coronavirus
The CDC is urging everyone across the globe to brace for a COVID-19 outbreak. As of to date, there is no vaccine or cure for the virus. However, individuals and business owners alike are searching for ways to protect themselves (or their employees) from contracting and spreading the virus. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the CDC encourages social distancing, covering coughs and sneezes, and washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds. Also, anyone that is sick, or that has a sick family member, should stay home. As a business owner, religious organization, school, or the like, you can take additional measures by ensuring your business is sanitized and clean. This not only reduces the chance of spreading the virus but also eases the minds of your employees or those visiting your business.
Reopening Preparation Cleaning the Capital District and Upstate NY
As your Capital District and Upstate NY business schedules to reopen and return to regular operations, it is important to make sure the necessary precautions are taken. Reentering a facility after coronavirus requires more than basic cleaning or janitorial services, it requires a company with the experience of handling biohazard cleaning and virus outbreaks.
Experts have developed comprehensive cleaning protocols for commercial facilities looking to reopen after the coronavirus crisis. All of our cleaning and disinfection services use hospital-grade, EPA registered products to the exact manufacturer specifications including mixing and dwell time. This is crucial in providing the maximum effectiveness of the Capital District and Upstate NY coronavirus disinfecting service.
Hand cleaning of all horizontal and frequently contacted surfaces such as: door handles, keyboards, desks, seating areas, handrails, copiers and printers, shopping carts, production equipment, touch screens and more. After hand cleaning all frequently contacted surfaces, we will apply an aerosolized disinfection solution to frequently touched porous surfaces such as upholstery, carpet, cubicles, etc. We will then shampoo all entryways, conference rooms, hallways and open area carpet. We also apply an EPA-registered, healthcare-grade disinfectant during this step of the process. Air Movers (high-powered fans) will be left on all cleaned carpet overnight to ensure quick drying. All restrooms within the facility will be disinfected from top to bottom including: walls, floors, toilets, sinks, partitions, counters and all other surfaces within the restrooms.
If your facility has large open areas such as those found in warehouses or manufacturing plants, United Building Maintenance Inc Services can mist an aerosolized EPA-registered, healthcare-grade disinfectant into the atmosphere of the area and on horizontal surfaces. If required, we can also hand clean individual pieces of equipment.

United Building Maintenance Inc Services is committed to helping our Clients by sanitizing your facilities and homes should the need arise in order to help combat the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
At this time we are pricing all projects on a time and materials basis. Client’s that have signed contracts in place will be serviced first. Medical facilities will take priority so that we can get them operational for the continued care of patients.
At this point, we are recommending that our Clients use existing staff to clean all touch points every hour. Touch points include items like door handles, floors, desks, faucet handles, computer keyboards, etc. Doing so will be just as effective as having your entire facility sanitized. Sanitizing without having a known case in your facility may be a waste of resources should you have an actual case arise. PPE and sanitizer supplies across the country are extremely low due to the demand.
If you have a confirmed case in your facility it is important to remove the individual as soon as possible and then vacate the facility. At United Building Maintenance Inc Services we have committed employees that have agreed to stay on board and help decontamination as needs arise. We will follow the CDC guidelines when sanitizing any facility. This will also include treating and sanitizing inside of ductwork and HVAC systems with our in house duct cleaning teams.
Please let us know if you need us, we truly hope that you don’t. Stay healthy and stay safe.
